Children and their families turned out in record numbers for this year’s Trunk or Treat October 24. Residents transformed their truck and car trunks into Halloween venues for children to visit. Afterwards, kids picked up to-go dinner boxes to enjoy outside. The event was made possible by the Children’s Events Committee, coordinated by Jennifer Davis. Others on the team included Ashley Markland, Laura Phletcher, Anne Register, Jordan Davis, Tommy Guest, Eugene Gunalda, and The Crown Club, a group of high school girls associated with the Junior Auxiliary. Please let our volunteers know how much you appreciate their time and skills. They help make Lake Caroline a fun and social place to live.
