Last month’s discussion of the Dutch House zoned in on Ann Patchett’s unique and diverse character development. The book was enjoyed by all, for a variety of reasons. It occurred to me: her diverse and interesting characters reflect the Lake Caroline book club! We have teachers, engineers, health care professionals and librarians; young and mature participants. Each brings a unique perspective to our book selections, that are intriguing and sometime, hilarious.
Please consider joining us on November 17 at 6:30 pm to discuss the Personal Librarian, by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Murray, historical fiction, a NY Times Bestseller and NPR best book of the year.
