The Board of Directors is responsible for the management of our association. A policy making body, some of the key responsibilities include:
Financial Management
Strategic Planning
Conducting an annual meeting of the members
Approving contracts
Ensuring adherence to architectural review guidelines
Maintaining common areas and facilities, and
Delegating operational tasks to the Executive Director.
Brandi Conico, President
Brandi is an Audit Manager with Bridgers, Goodman, Baird & Clarke, CPAs where she is responsible for financial audits of local counties, municipalities, and non-profits. She previously worked as an attorney in private practice. Educated as an accountant and an attorney, Brandi has undergraduate and masters degrees, including a Juris Doctorate, from Mississippi College, and a Masters in Tax Law from the University of Alabama. She is a certified CPA and is a member of the Mississippi Bar. Brandi has volunteered throughout her career in various capacities, including work with the Mississippi Taxpayer Assistance Program and the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project. Past volunteer leadership positions include terms as President and Secretary for the Health Law Society and a tenure on the advisory board of the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project. She and Marshall live in the Villages.
Blake Ferretti, Vice President
Blake recently moved to Lake Caroline from Cleveland, MS. He is President and Owner of two successful businesses, Ferretti Property Services and Delta Coin. He studied Business Management at Delta State. Blake has served on five boards, including the Boliver Chamber of Commerce, Our Ladies of Victories Catholic Church where he served on the Finance Committee, the Cleveland Noon Lions Club where he served as President and Vice President, and a Catholic fraternal association, where he served in a leadership role. Blake and Leah live in Camden Ridge.
Brian Wiese, Secretary
Brian is a Senior Manager with Entergy responsible for its nuclear fleet capital budget management and reporting. He previously led their Nuclear Operating and Maintenance Efficiency Strategy, designed to identify, and implement capital solutions to reduce recurring expenses. Brian has over 25 years of commercial nuclear experience in Project Management, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Operations, Construction Management and Corrective Action Programs. He served 5 years with the US Navy. Brian has an MBA from Louisiana State University and an undergraduate degree from Excelsior College and is certified as a Professional Project Manager. He served on the LCOA Events Committee for 7 years, a member of the Advisory Council for 5 years, and in 2024 was elected to the Board of Directors. Brian lives in Northshore.
Charlsie Hendon, Treasurer
Charlsie holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Professional Accountancy both from Delta State University. She has over 20 years experience in financial and tax accounting. Charlsie is currently employed at Ergon Inc where she is a Director of Accounting. Charlsie and her family moved to Lake Caroline in 2021 and currently live on Belle Pointe. Charlsie has served on numerous nonprofit boards and looks forward to serving her community in Lake Caroline.
Johnny Barlow
Johnny was born and raised in Jackson and attended Belhaven College. He is an Air Force Veteran and spent 34 years working in corporate America with two major food service companies. During this time he served as VP of Corporate Sales and Marketing. He also served as the staff member on the Human Resources Ethics Board. He has played key roles in numerous initiatives at Lake Caroline including Lake Dredging, New fuel Island, Park Drainage projects, LC DEQ Dam inspection requirement, Katherine Lake dam repair, Bridgewater bridge resurfacing, bridge height restrictors and the DEQ Requirements. He offers a commonsense approach to problem solving. He and his wife of 53 years, Brenda, moved to Lake Caroline in 2014 and live in Pembroke Cove. They pontoon a lot to unwind from a hard day of golf, yard work and shopping.
Mary Kiddy
Mary is the office manager with McIntosh and Associates Realtors. Daily duties include working with agent’s contracts, advertising, client relations, billing and referrals. She is a Licensed realtor for the States of Mississippi and Virginia. She served on various committees for neighborhood improvements for the Western branch borough of Chesapeake VA and held various positions for the Officer spouse groups for the USS Theodore Roosevelt and USS John C Stennis Aircraft Carriers. Mary also served as Ombudsman for two Submarine Commands. She is a graduate of Lawrence Institute of Technology with a BS in Architecture and a graduate of Ferris State University with an Associate of Architectural Drafting. She and Roy have 3 adult children and reside in Northshore where she served on the Northshore HOA since 2019.
Clif Peyton
Clif is a Senior Supply Chain Manager at Nissan North America. He has 34 years manufacturing experience. He has vast knowledge of Budgeting, Production Planning, Goal Setting, Collaboration and Team Supervision. He holds a BBA from University of Memphis and an MBA from Millsaps. His thought process on Leadership is to “Not let ego drive your decisions. You must carefully weigh any decision using the best available data and facts, being careful to not let the process falter”. Clif and his wife, Kim, have enjoyed living in Madison County since 1997. They moved to Northshore in Lake Caroline in 2020.
David Summers
David retired after a 35-year career with The Dow Chemical Company with assignments in Louisiana, Texas, West Virginia, and Michigan. Starting as a chemist in the lab, his responsibilities grew over the years to include people and budgets, in addition to project management. He retired in a VP level job with responsibility for over 2200 people. After retirement, he volunteered with Habitat for Humanity eventually becoming the asst. construction manager. He also served for six years in the U.S. Naval Reserve and for eleven years as a Blue and Gold Officer for the United States Naval Academy. He holds a degree in Chemistry from Mississippi College, a MS in Organic Chemistry from Mississippi State University, and an executive MBA from Indiana University. David and his wife, Paula, have lived in Belle Pointe since January, 2022.
